DEATH BATTLE: Rayquaza Vs. Bahamut.

It is a Death Battle set up. Between the legendary dragon of Pokemon's third generation, Rayquaza. And the mighty dragon from the Final Fantasy video game, Bahamut. Both great dragons are entangled while fighting in the dark night sky. And both dragons are charging up their signature energy beam attacks to strike hard at point blank range.

I will not say how long it took me to work on this project? But I will say working on this project FEELS like working on a Magnum Opus. So many body parts and dragon scales and more details I had to painstakingly effort to make Bahamut look as good as possible. Rayquaza was simpler in design. And after doing all the line work. Figuring out what colors to add to make it look dark was another challenge on white paper. Starting off with light colors. Then doing to darker colors. And adding lots of grays and blacks to get the look of both their energy beams lighting up their front bodies and part of the night sky.

All done with Prismacolor pencils and Pigma Micron ink pens.
